October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Enter the Pink Together Giveaway

I am sure you are aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, unfortunately most of us have been affected either directly or indirectly by this disease. MyBlogSpark and Pink Together sent me information about an online community on MySpace, where those touched by breast cancer can share hope and provide support, comfort, and encouragement to one another.

The community is part of Pink Together, which is a national campaign supporting those impacted by breast cancer and helps raise awareness of the disease. General Mills is donating $2 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and is turning the packaging pink on an assortment of its most beloved brands in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. General Mills will also donate $1, up to $20,000, each time you post a comment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet or share a story on PinkTogether.com in October.
