Honoring Veterans Day – Free Restaurant Offers

Veteran's Day is November 11, 2009. There are nearly 24 million Veterans living among us. This Veterans Day several restaurants are holding events to thank and honor military personnel who have served our country. The events are being held on several different days at participating locations. It is always best to call ahead and make sure your location is included.

  • Abuelo's: November 11, All veterans and active duty military men and women who dine with us on Veterans Day will receive a free entrée with the purchase of a second entrée of equal or greater value, plus two beverages. Simply show your proof of military service when ordering. Participating locations, be sure to check with yours.
  • Applebees: All veterans and active duty military personnel with proof of current or former military service are invited to eat free at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar Restaurants this Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.  Proof of service includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform.
  • Krispy Kreme: Honoring America's service men and women on Veterans Day by giving away free doughnuts to all veterans and active military personnel. Veterans and active military personnel are invited to visit any participating U.S. Krispy Kreme store on Veterans Day, November 11, and enjoy one free doughnut of any variety.
  • Outback Steakhouse: November 11, Receive a Free Bloomin' Onion and beverage of choice (one non-alcoholic drink or one draft Anheuser Busch beer except where prohibited by law) will be available to them at every Outback in the country on Veterans Day. Proper ID required.
  • Uno Chicago Grill: This Veteran's Day, 11/11, Uno invites all members of the military both veterans and active duty to join them for a FREE entree or individual pizza (with and entree or pizza purchase of equal or greater value). No Coupon necessary, just show up in uniform or with a picture of you in uniform, or your military or veteran's ID.
  • Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Dinner will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009, from 5 to 9 pm in all Golden Corral restaurants nationwide. Any person who has served in the US Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves) will receive a FREE dinner - No identification is required for the service member.
