My philosophy on shopping for clothes is that is if you know when and where to shop, you can purchase high quality clothing for value prices. If you know where to find these discounts you can buy great clothes, look great and not blow the budget!
Here are some of my tips for saving money while shopping for kids’ clothes:
- Shopping around holidays such as 4th of July, Labor Day and of course the "Big" shopping season you will find excellent sales.
- Shop Clearance
- Always take your printable coupons with you for additional savings. This is one of the best ways to get HUGE savings.
- Know your favorite store's mark down days
- Shop at stores that are truly outlet such as Gap Outlet, don't get caught up in the other filler stores.
- Buy clothes off season. It's not really hard to estimate how much your child will grow, so I buy long sleeve at the beginning of summer and short sleeves and shorts in the fall. I buy sandals when everyone else is buying boots!
- Of course, you have to follow Gap Outlet on Twitter for up to the minute deals
