they worked great at first till i started getting oily spot the one got stuck in the drain pump nice 2 hours of work getting it out of there

Told Purex back in July 2009 that the sheet ruined my washer when it got caught in the drain pump and flooded my basement. They said they had never heard anything like that happening and I should “prove it.” Great to know I’m not alone.

Just had tear our washer apart to find that a 3-in-1 sheet
was caught in the drain pump. husband is not happy and
is still trying to put our washer back together. will not use this product ever again. Just sent the company a not so pleasant
e-mail that they must not have tested their new product too well.

I loved these at first. They were wonderful. Then I started noticing the oily spots all over our clothes, especially my husband’s shirts. Very disappointing. I washed our bedspread and now it is covered with the oily spots. I’ve tried everything to remove them, and cannot. I will never use these again.

At first I was so please with this product and now after the second refil, I am noticing spots..similair to oil stains on my husbands dress shirts..I look over the shirts before I wash them just in case they need a little pre treating ..and when they come out the dryer ..spots..similair to oil spots..I have bought stain removers..and pretty much everything under the sun to get these spots off..they are in random places where stains probably would not appear. I will NO longer use this product nor recommend it to anyone…and I write this as I am just about to go to the mall and buy new dress shirts

I have been using Purex 3 in 1 in my college laundry-mat. They have standard washers and dryers and i haven’t noticed any unusual stiffness or spotting. However recently my school posted multiple notes in the laundry rooms saying that these sheets will break the washers. Does anyone have any experience with this happening to them?

I can’t comment on how well these things work, but I can warn you that they can get into the pump and button trap on front loading and top loading machines. I am a technician who has been swamped with services calls to remove them. Could add up to alot of money more than the cost of the product!

I was thrilled when Purex came out with these sheets. They worked beautifully when they first came out. I use the Purex Pure (the unscented ones) in a newer model standard top loading machine. No problems at all for a few months.

The last batch of sheets I got left the oily stains on my clothes. Mostly blue items. Light blue LL Bean dress shirt, dark blue LL Bean pima cotton shirt and now my dark blue cotton pants. Did you change the formula from the original batch?? Seriously rethinking future purchases.

Won’t buy these again, getting skin rashes never seen before. Rewashing all undergarments and sheets with other brands.
