I have an instance almost every 10 minutes where I need to clean up something. There was that time the 5 gallon jug of powdered Gatorade fell off the pantry shelf, and the time an entire box of Froot Loops fell off the table and then there's the dog who feels it is necessary to shake every ounce of extra fur off his body in 5 minute intervals onto the hardwood floors.
Vroom Solo recently sent me their vacuum to try in my house and I knew it would come in handy. Vroom installs in the kitchen, bathroom or a workroom so you always know where to find it. I have to admit, I didn't tackle the task of installing it right away. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to do it. The instructions are kind of small, but I was still able to get it together in a reasonable period of time.
The Vroom vacuum comes with a 24 foot hose, which is a pretty good size for cleaning a kitchen, bathroom, or even a laundry room (which would be another good place to put it with all the dust I collect there!). It also has an auto on/off switch which comes in very handy.

My Vroom is in the kitchen because this is the area I find hardest to keep clean. It is where we spend a lot of time and very high traffic. You can use the Vroom to clean the counters, top of the refrigerator, the drawers (you know how those mysterious crumbs end up in the silverware drawer), dry messes, baseboards, pantries, the coffee grinds and powered creamer I always seem to spill and so much more. It's the perfect addition to my kitchen.

I have some exciting news! Vroom Solo is having a virtual Tweetup on Monday June, 8 2009 at 8:30pm EST.
The topic for discussion: to talk about your tips or challenges in keeping a clean house, and to learn from other moms. #vroomvac
In addition, they will be giving away two Vroom Solos during the Tweetup by asking two random questions!
