Posted on by

This week we have Back to school shopping tips for teens! We went out shopping and have an awesome haul to show you from great stores like Hollister, Coach, Aeropostale, Lucky and more.

$545 is the actual cost of all the stuff you will see in the video, but you know I didn’t pay that much! I have a variety of stylish clothes that teens love! How much did I spend? Watch the video and find out!

First let’s talk Shopping Tips so you can score too:

  1. Sales:
You are not necessarily looking for a Back to School Sale. Skip the front of the stores and head to the back because that is where they usually keep the BEST clearance and sale merchandise! Just because it is on clearance doesn’t mean it is not stylish anymore!

Check with your favorite stores because a lot of them do regular markdowns and if you get a nice associate, you might be able to find out what day.

  2. Basics:
Stores like Old Navy and Target are great for Basics like camis. Why pay $20 for a cami at the trendy stores when you can pay much less. Stores like Old Navy.
  3. Budget:
It is always important to set a budget, I usually just use cash so when I run out I know it’s time to go home. You will notice that I have a splurge purchase, but that’s just to show you that it’s even possible to save on a splurge

Most sales start in the middle to end of the week and run through Saturday. Most printable coupons also start in the middle of the week and run through Saturday with some continuing through the weekend! This is where you can save a bundle because you can almost always use the printable coupon on sale and clearance merchandise which makes for huge scores!
