National Geographic and Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest

Do you take great pictures or love taking pictures as a hobby? Well, whatever the case is, if you have a camera you will definitely want to enter this contest!

The 3rd Annual Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest is happening right now. This event is hosted by National Geographic and Energizer and photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to enter. Entries for this contest will be accepted until June 30, 2010.

To Enter:

  • Grab your best photos and use them in categories like Animals/Wildlife, Travel and Weather. This is your chance to win a National Geographic Expeditions trip for two to the Greek isles and be featured in an Energizer ad in the December issue of National Geographic magazine.
  • You can enter until June 30th by visiting National Geographic. Photographer Jim Richardson of National Geographic serves as a contest judge. He will also be posting photography tips and participating in a Q&A session on the contest website.
  • ALL photography skill levels are encouraged to enter, in fact, one of last year’s winners was a zoo employee using a regular point-and-shoot camera!

Don’t forget your Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA and AAA batteries! They are the world’s longest lasting batteries in high-tech devices. They last up to eight times longer than Energizer® MAX® in digital cameras (results vary by camera)-which means you can take your mind off your batteries and focus on capturing that winning photo.

I received a Canon 200DG Digital Camera Gadget Bag for my time. The batteries are being provided by Energizer on behalf of Energizer and National Geographic.
